Creative Scrappers: Sketch 265 Reveal

Hi Everyone!  It's reveal day over at Creative Scrappers.  Today we have Sketch 265...a fun Project Life-like sketch!

Since I am not a Project-Lifer I decided to translate the sketch to a layout.  Here's what I created:

As soon as I saw the sketch, I thought of the new Molly collection from Bella Blvd.  The Paper Pieces Die Cuts and Candid Cards were a perfect fit for this sketch!

This great saying is from the Molly Borders Paper.

This layout really came together quickly, especially with all of the ready to use pieces.  We'd love to see what you create with this sketch!  Link up your project and you could win a full kit from our April Sponsor Scraptastic Club!

That's it for me today...be sure to stop by the Creative Scrappers Blog to check out more layouts from the CS team!  Thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: Cute as a Bunny Layout

Hi Everyone...I'm up on the Doodlebug Blog today with a layout featuring the Springtime Collection.  LOVE this collection!  So bright and cheery!  These pictures are from around 2002 when my daughter was almost four.  Seems like forever ago! (she's almost 16!)

I think my FAVORITE new embellishments from Doodlebug are the garlands.  They are perfect for all types of projects.  I will admit though, I had a hard time cutting mine!  Luckily there is plenty on the card to make a couple of layouts!

Here are some more close ups...

Aren't the bunny stickers ADORABLE??!!!  They inspired my whole layout!

That's it for me today...make sure to stop by the Doodlebug Blog to see Candace's layout as well! Thanks for stopping by!

Right at Home Scrapbooking: It's a Plan Class Layout 3

Hi Everyone... I have the final layout from my March It's a Plan Class at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  The class was this past Saturday...we had a great time.  One of my students was there even though her daughter was getting married that night!!  I was flattered!  Here's the last layout from the class using Pebbles From Me to You.

Such a silly picture...my daughter and her friend enjoying some smoothies after a long day of dress shopping for their Ring Dance. (Semi formal where they get their class rings).  Thankfully it was a successful trip for them both!

I finally got to play with my new Amy Tangerine Plus One Dies.  That little camera is too cute!  That's it for today...just a quick post!  I'll be back on Thursday with a layout for Doodlebug Design featuring the new Springtime Collection!  Thanks for stopping by!

Right at Home Scrapbooking: Another It's a Plan Layout

I have another layout to share from my It's a Plan class at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  For the month of March we'll be creating 3 layouts using the fun From Me to You collection from Pebbles.  Here's the second layout:

These pictures are from last year...a friend and I took our girls to go see Emblem 3 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston.  I hadn't been there in about 25 years...it really hadn't changed much!  It was a night full of screaming teenaged girls!

I had a lot of fun with speech bubbles on this one and some fun stamps by Paper Smooches.  This month's It's a Plan Class will be held tomorrow (Saturday, March 22nd) at 10:00am.  If you're local and interested call Right at Home to reserve your spot.  That's it for today, I'll be back soon with some more projects.  Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: Count Your Lucky Stars Issue

Hi Everyone...I have a fun layout today for the Count Your Lucky Stars Issue at Paper Issues.  This issue is being sponsored by Lori Whitlock.  What are we looking for?  Well some ideas would be St. Patrick's Day, someone you're star struck over, movie stars, astrology, astronomy, use stars on your page, counting on someone or something, chance encounter, fortune cookies, or projects using items from the PI March Swag Bag or cut files by Lori Whitlock.   My layout includes a number of these items...take a peek...

First I started with some fun Bella Blvd. Lucky Starz papers....this is a great collection for everyday scrapping!  Next I added a fun title created by Lori Whitlock.  I cut it from the background paper first, then cut some of the words from coordinating papers to add some color and dimension.  It is the perfect sentiment for this group of ladies...my neighborhood "Bunco" group.  (Bunco in quotes due to the fact that we don't play anymore, and it's just an excuse to have a girls night every month for the last 10 years!)

I also used quite a number of goodies from the Paper Issues March Swag Bag...including this adorable custom flair from PandaEight .

Many of the word stickers are also from the March Swag Bag along with the sequins, chipboard star and pin.

We'd love for you to link up your projects to this issue!  You could win a $25 gift card to Lori Whitlock's store!!  She has TONS of fabulous cutting files!!  You have until March 30th to add your project here to be eligible!!!  Can't wait to see your projects!  That's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Creative Scrappers: Sketch 264 Reveal

Hi Everyone, it's reveal day for Sketch 264 over at Creative Scrappers!  It's a fun sketch, check it out:

I wasn't really sure where to begin with this...but I have to tell you, I'm very happy with how everything turned out!  I really stuck to the sketch as is and came up with this layout:

This is my fluffy kitty Rosie...in a basket as usual.  We call baskets, bags and boxes cat traps around here.  I decided to go with a playful theme and used Doodlebug's Kraft in Color collection and some of the new Doodlebug Washi Tapes.  This is probably one of my all time favorite collections EVER!  So bright, happy and versatile!!

The fun flair is by Panda Eight...this button was perfect!  I couldn't resist creating some paw prints with the Doodlebug Sprinkles as well!

I pulled out some of my OLD Bazzill Stitching templates and found this kitty face...it was Purr-fect for my layout.  (ok, I'll stop with the cat puns...)  I used some Solid Midnight Blue twine from The Twinery to stitch it up!

And finally my title... #MEOW.... a little joke we have over at Paper Issues... they know I'm a crazy cat lady and support me fully.

We'd love to see what you create with this sketch.  Make sure to link up your layout by March 31st and you will be entered to win a fab prize from our March Sponsor Chic Tags

Make sure to check out the other layouts by the CS Creative team on the Creative Scrappers Blog.  That's it for today!  Thanks for stopping by.

Doodlebug Designs: Kraft In Color Insta-Mini

Hi Everyone...I'm up on the Doodlebug blog today with a cute little mini album I created using the new Kraft in Color collection. This is definitely one of my all time favorite collections!!
As soon as I saw the Rainbow Chevron Washi I knew I needed to play with it!!!  When I found the cute Instant Memories SVG kit from SVGCuts.com  my inspiration was complete!  An album featuring my favorite Insta's from last year!

I created my album cover using pieces from the Instant Camera box.  The lenses were created using some new Lily White Sprinkles Vellum and a couple of mini jewels.  I made the rainbow portion of the camera using some of the washi tapes from the new Chevron Washi Assortment.  Now for the hard part...picking just one picture to represent each month!

All of the background papers were taken from the Kraft in Color 6x6 pads.  I mixed them with some stickers and elements from a few other collections including Take Note and Flowerpot.  I love the new Arrows Sprinkles....they're awesome!!

Such a fun mini to put together!  I thought it would take me forever, but the fact that all of Doodlebug's products mix and match just made it a breeze! That's it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Right at Home Scrapbooking: March It's a Plan Class

Hi Everyone...wanted to give you a peek at one of the three layouts for my March It's a Plan class at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  This month, we'll be playing with some From Me to You by Pebbles.  Take a peek...

I'm on a roll with layouts featuring moi...a goal for this year...be in the picture!  Just a couple of selfies wearing our new glasses.  I'm officially old, went from no glasses to progressive lenses...sigh...

I used some of the stamps from the new MFT Friend Request Stamp set, along with some Dienamics.

I used my Cameo to create the speech bubble title.

Finally...a hidden tag for some journaling!  If you're local and would like to join us, this month's class will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 10:00am.  Call the store to reserve your spot.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday!!

I would like to wish my hubby Ed a very Happy Birthday today!!!!  I decided to make him a cute little box card using some Doodlebug Kraft in Color goodies and a fun cut file from Lori Whitlock...here's what I came up with:

This is a very masculine color scheme for me!!  I'm used to pinks!!  The Doodlebug papers make it easy though!  The cut file comes with all sorts of cute goodies! I added a few extra details...first, the #happybirthday stamp and the label die are from MFT...

I also decided to add some sparkle using the new Doodlebug sequins.  The jars of sequins are awesome...they have variety of hues for each color!  I also used some of the chunky Doodlebug Sugar Coated glitter to frost my cake and for the candle flame.

I hope he likes it!!  (he's at work, and won't see this post....) And now he's officially older than I am for a whole 3 months!!!

Creative Scrappers: Sketch 263 Reveal

Hi Everyone... I have a reveal today for Creative Scrappers Sketch 263.  It was a fun sketch...take a peek:

And here's my take on the sketch.  I twisted the sketch to the right for my layout to accommodate my picture.  This is my daughter and her friends posing for Homecoming pictures last fall.  It's sad that they're shy....

The papers, tags and wood pieces are all from Elle's Studio's Love You More collection.
The LOVE THIS clips are from Freckled Fawn.

I added some Heidi Swapp Colorshine in Primrose to the wood hearts and ampersand to make them pop a bit more.

Check out all of the reveals for this sketch on the Creative Scrappers Blog.  Make sure to link up your take on this sketch to our linky party and you could a $30 prize pack from our fabby March sponsor Chic Tags!!!!!  You have until March 31st to link up!

That's all for today...thanks for stopping by!!!
