Lori Whitlock: Graduation Hat Box

Hi Everyone,  I have a cute little project I created for Lori Whitlock today, a Graduation Hat Box!  Take a peek...

My daughter is graduating from high school this year, so I know I'll be using this file a lot!  I used some Blue Jean Swiss Dot Petite Prints from Doodlebug Design as my papers (her school colors are blue & white) and to top it off I made a tassel using some white baker's twine.

The box is the perfect size for a small gift or gift card.  You could also fill it with candies as a graduation party favor!  It goes together really quickly and it's very sturdy!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Under the Sea

Hi Everyone! Today I have a fun layout using the ADORABLE new Under the Sea Collection from Doodlebug Design!  My daughter LOVED mermaids when she was little.  She always pretended to be one when we were at the beach, so this collection was perfect for me!

There were so many cute elements in the collection, I wanted to make sure I used them all!!  I opted for a grid design so I could create little scenes.  Of course, the Mini Mermaid Doodle Pop had to be part of my design!  The mermaid along with the fun sticker from the This and That sheet made up the perfect title!

I also added some goodies from the Sprinkles Shapes and Icon Sheet Stickers.  And those Bubble Shape Sprinkles...LOVE!

To fill in some of my grid I cut the squares from the Coral Reef Cardstock , they have such cute little pictures!

I finished off my scene with some colorful stitching!   Under the Sea is the perfect collection for summer and vacations!  There are so many cute elements!  Make sure to check out the blog all next week for more Under the Sea inspiration!  That's it for me, thanks for stopping by to peek!

I love this little Teddy Bear!  The dies to make him are from the Design a Softie Quick Stitch Kit from Papertrey Ink.  These dies are so stinkin' cute!  The papers and twine are from Doodlebug Design's Sugar and Spice collection.  This collection is from a few years ago, but I've been hording the papers, they are so cute!!  They were so happy to have this, and I'm just glad I got it to them before Fiona's first birthday!!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Anchors Aweigh!

Hi Everyone!  Today I have  a layout I created using the new Anchors Aweigh Collection from Doodlebug Design!  We are a family of fishers and boaters, so this collection was right up my alley!!  It was the perfect match for these pictures from a few years ago of my husband and daughter heading to and from our mooring!  Take a peek...

Hands down, my favorite sticker in the whole collection is the seagull from the Icons Sheet.  I can just hear him saying, "mine, mine, mine...."  I wanted him as a focal point with the title which uses some Lily White Skinny Alphas.

The sun and clouds were cut using dies from the Spring Showers set from Lawn Fawn.  I used some Lily White Sprinkles Vellum for my clouds.

Doodle pops and Shaped Sprinkles are always favorites for me!  I used them here to set up a little underwater scene. I also added in a few Bubble Shaped Sprinkles!  They were too cute to pass up!

Even though this scene Anchor's Aweign has some "boy themed" elements,  it really can be used with any beach or water pictures!   The stickers and embellishments are adorable and the colors are so bright and cheery! That's it for me,  make sure to stop by the Doodlebug Blog daily for more Anchor's Aweigh inspiration! Thanks for stopping by to peek!
